It's Noémie's birthday. All the family gathered at grandma's to celebrate the tenth anniversary of her last grand daughter. On the beautiful Louis XV style table, delicate plates and flowery Champagne glasses and cups are already set. The result is a refined "brocante" decoration.
The guests are sitting down around the plain chestnut table with curved feet. Let's add an extension so that everybody can sit comfortably.
For this occasion, Grandma set a beautiful table linen: a table cloth bordered with lace and napkins decorated with a tone on tone monogram, recalling young women's trousseau from the past.
Noémie loves her grandma's dessert plate service. The six plates are all different one from another but have the same colour and match perfectly in a « brocante » spirit: one wears flower garlands, the other little ties, a third one is ornate with a geometrical frieze.
Some of guests will taste the cake with a bit of Clairette, others with a coffee, served in a beautiful cup matching with the plates.
